Measuring Existing Fittings

Taking measurements using existing fittings, such as tracks or poles, is quite straightforward.

Measuring From Tracks

Measure the width of the track, allowing for a 7.5cm overlap in the middle. Measure from the top of the track and not the runners. When the curtains are pulled they should cover the track, either to 12-15cm below the window sill or to the floor, whichever is your preference.

Measuring From Poles

Measure the width of the pole between the finials, allowing for a 7.5cm overlap in the middle and any returns at the sides. Measure from the top of the eye under the ring to either 12-15cm below the window sill or to the floor, whichever is your preference.
